MILLBURY/BRIMFIELD – Joseph N. Capistron, 56, formerly of Worcester, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, Oct. 30th after a short illness.
He leaves his wife, Donna A. (Norton) Capistron of Brimfield; a daughter, Michaela Capistron of Brimfield; a brother, Thomas N. and his wife Susan Capistron of Sutton; three sisters, Tina M. wife of David DesJardins of Scotland, CT, Karen A. wife of Thomas Remuck of Millbury and Nancy M. wife of David Dulmaine of Millbury; many nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents Joseph O. and Anna M. (Norris) Capistron and a brother, Peter Capistron.
He attended nursing school in Springfield and found great pleasure in caring for other people. He was a gentle kind person who loved the outdoors. He found great joy hunting with his dogs, listening to music and playing his guitar, that gave him solitude.
His funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 1st from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31st in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
