– Joseph F. Stockwell, 63, of Auburn, formerly of Millbury, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Elaine (Chirico) Stockwell and his daughter, Maria-Elena Stockwell of Auburn; his parents, Frederick D. and Shirley A. (Bourdeau) Stockwell of Millbury; his sister, Sharron Vottiero and her husband, Scott of Millbury. He is predeceased by his sister, Sandra Stockwell. Joe and Elaine moved to Auburn in 1976.
Joe was born in Millbury and graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1969. He attended college at Seton Hall in New Jersey where he met his wife, Elaine. Joe attended nursing school at Becker College and became an RN in 1993. He retired as an RN in 2006, due to his health.
Services and burial for Joe will be private. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements.
