Joyce A. (Remillard) Bergstrom Eccleston, 71 passed away Wednesday, July 8th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Joyce leaves her husband of 44 years, Ralph A. Eccleston; four children, David Bergstrom, Tina Bergstrom, Peter Bergstrom, and Waylon Eccleston; three siblings, Clifford Remillard, Norman Remillard, and Norma Flint; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Edna (Latimer) Remillard and siblings, Ronald Remillard and Douglas Remillard.
Joyce was a devoted Christian who spent her life spreading love to everyone she met. She truly enjoyed raising her family and never missed an opportunity to smile with them, whether it was through cooking, gardening, painting, wood-working, or just sharing stories. However, her biggest hobby was attempting to keep her husband out of trouble.
A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 18th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. The family will meet those attending as they arrive from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the funeral service in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers her family requests donations to one of her two favorite organizations: The Muscular Dystrophy Association 33 Lyman St, Westborough, MA 01581 or The Make A Wish Foundation, 1 Bulfinch Pl #201 Boston, MA.
