NARRAGANSETT, R.I. - Julia G. (Silun) Tebo, 84, of 30 Kingstown Rd., formerly of Millbury, Ma., died Tuesday, Nov. 13, in her home after being stricken ill.
Her husband, Leodore J. Tebo Jr. died in 1992. She leaves three sons, Ronald Tebo of Bremerton, Washington, Kenneth Tebo of Sarasota, Florida and Lawrence Tebo of Amherst, Ma.; a daughter, Barbara Lucier of Narragansett, R.I.; a brother, Francis Silun of Sutton; two sisters, Helen Ordung of Sutton and Louise Botica of DeBary, Florida; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by a daughter, Jacqueline LaCoy and a brother, Stanley Silun. She was born in Worcester daughter of Walter W. and Genevieve P. (Sroka) Silun and lived in Millbury, Ma. many years before moving to Rhode Island two years ago.
Mrs. Tebo was a self employed seamstress. She was a volunteer at the South County Hospital in Wakefield and at the former Pine Grove Villa Nursing Home in Millbury, Ma.. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church in Millbury, Ma. and the Quilting Club at the Senior Center in South Kingston, R.I. She made quilts for the Make a Difference Project in Rhode Island and also for the Linus Project in Worcester Ma. to benefit children in hospitals.
The funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 19, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, Ma. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, Ma. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Sutton, Ma. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday Nov. 18, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to South County Hospital, Auxiliary Fund, 100 Kenyon Ave., Wakefield, R.I. 02879.
