MILLBURY – June L. (Quarelli) Russo, would have been 81, on May 14th, died Friday, April 23rd in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Her husband, Albert Russo died in May of 2001. She leaves two daughters, Christine J. Kozlowski and her husband Michael of Millbury and Mary A. Hollis of Danville, VA; two sons, John A. Russo and his wife Nancy and Michael P. Russo and his wife Donna all of Millbury; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Jeffrey and his wife Stephanie, Nicole, and her husband, Mark, A.J., Courtney, Kayley, Jonathan and Rachel; five great grandchildren, Brooke, Kyliegh, Nathan, Maeghan and Jack; a sister, Irene Louis of Millbury; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her parents, John G. and Gladys (Murray) Quarelli; two sisters, Doris Mathieu and Gloria Hedstrom.
She formerly played in the Power Star Harmony Drum and Bugle Corp. She was a great mother and grandmother.
June's funeral will be held Monday, April 26th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 25th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Millbury Adult Day Health Care, 10 Colonial Dr., Millbury, MA 01527 or to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
