AUBURN – Karen M. (Blanchard) Russell, 44, formerly of Millbury, died suddenly Wednesday, March 14, 2012 after being stricken ill.
Karen leaves her husband of 20 years, Paul D. Russell; three sons, Tyler F. Russell, Evan P. Russell and Matthew P. Russell; a step daughter, Ayla L. Russell; a step son, Addison P. Russell; her father, Francis C. Blanchard; two brothers, Brian F. Blanchard and Mark W. Blanchard. She is predeceased by her mother, Maureen (Sarja) Blanchard.
Karen worked at Fallon/Reliant Medical Center in Worcester for 25 years. She enjoyed crafts, shopping and most of all spending time with her family.
Karen's funeral will be held on Monday, March 19th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 18th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Russell Memorial Trust c/o Millbury Credit Union, 56 Auburn St., Auburn, MA 01501.
