PRINCETON – Katherine N. (Walker) Mongeon, 63, died at the Jewish Health Care Center on Friday, June 25, 2010. She was the wife of Thomas V. Mongeon of Princeton.
She was born February 9, 1947 in Worcester, a daughter of the late Stanley G. and Gladys S. Walker of Northborough. She was a graduate of Algonquin Regional High School, Northborough, and Clark University. She received her library science degree at Simmons College. She worked for many years as the Children's Librarian at the Auburn Public Library. Katherine loved the sport of Volkswalking and was an avid birder.

Her siblings: Linda McLinden and her spouse Linda, Stanley G. Walker Jr. and his spouse Mary Beth Purcell, Daniel Walker, and Jeffrey Walker and his spouse Sandy.
Her in-laws: Norma Mailberg, and Linda Lunt and her husband Jim.
Her nieces and nephews: Lisa Lunt, Sheryl Lunt, Sarah Walker, Kathryn Walker, Bruce Mailberg, and Matthew McLinden
Her great nieces and nephews: Amanda Mailberg, Alex Mailberg, and Jack Mailberg.
A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at the First Parish Church Unitarian Universalist, 40 Church Street Northborough, MA, on Saturday, July 10, at 10 AM. Please come. Share your favorite stories and memories of Kathy. There are no calling hours. Mullhane Home for Funerals of Millbury assisted with the arrangements.
