MILLBURY Katherine A. "Kitty" (Kacevich) Zemaitis, 90, formerly of 1 Heather Ave, died Saturday, April 14th in her home at Notre Dame du Lac, Worcester.
Her husband, John A. Zemaitis died in 2002. She leaves a son, John A. Zemaitis, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Shrewsbury; three daughters, Nancy M. wife of Anthony Mangano and Carolyn, wife of Sheldon Zaklow of Millbury and Elizabeth Sparrow of Middleboro; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, A. Ruth Aiksnoras of Holden; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Adam and Alexandria (Krilovich) Kacevich; a sister, Margaret Heller; four brothers, Adam, Joseph, Benedict and Vincent Kacevich. Katherine was born and raised in Worcester. She came to Millbury in 1941 and moved to Notre Dame Du Lac in 2002.
Kitty was a former member of the St. BrigidTM)s Church, the Millbury Council on Aging, Millbury Golden Age and the Friends of the Millbury Seniors.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 18th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., in Millbury. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 17th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Hospice, 555 Plantation St., Worcester, MA. 01605.
