It is with profound sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Kathleen MacIntyre, who peacefully left this world in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family, photos of loved ones, and her beloved dog Lily, on January 1st, 2025 at the age of 77 years old.
Kathy was born on March 14, 1947 in Worcester to Catherine and Leo Bachant.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and devoted friend who was cherished by many. Over the years, Kathy touched the lives of countless people and offered unwavering support, kind words, and a listening ear. She had an extraordinary ability to make those around her feel valued and loved, creating bonds that lasted a lifetime.

Kathy was predeceased by her loving husband Richard MacIntyre, her mother and father, Catherine and Leo Bachant, her son, Clinton Healy Jr., and her brother, Leo Bachant, whom she was very close to as they were one another’s only siblings.
Throughout her life, Kathy touched the hearts of many. She treasured spending precious time with family and friends, gardening and crafting, watching game shows and playing Candy Crush, pressing her luck at the casino, keeping up with social media, showing her support at her grandchildren’s sporting events, and spending time sitting in her chair with Lily.
Kathy was a devoted advocate for those who struggle with addiction. Whether near or far, Kathy’s influence reached beyond mere proximity. Her words of wisdom, sense of humor, and ability to listen to others made her a cherished confidant, mentor, and friend. Before becoming ill herself, she was actively involved with the Alzheimer’s Association. Kathy even went as far as initiating a support group for family members and caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s Disease. Those who had the privilege of knowing her will remember the many times she offered encouragement, comfort, and hope during moments of joy and struggle alike.
