Kathy was born and raised in Sutton Massachusetts and graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade High School. She grew up on a farm and led a humble life with strong family values that she instilled upon her own family. Kathy was very simple and enjoyed staying home, sewing, and crafting for hours in her special sewing room. She loved collecting material, buttons and literally anything that she could get her hands on. She was passionate about her creations, and she could often be found at local craft fairs. Kathy took pride in her appearance and her vast array of clothing, shoes, and accessories was overflowing.
Kathy proudly cared for elderly families up until her diagnosis, she loved helping others. She worked hard and was always self-sufficient. Kathy devoted her whole life to her four children and was proud of all their accomplishments. She adored her three grandsons, Zachary, Benjamin and Tyler. Her most precious moments with them were family vacations at the ocean. She loved taking them crabbing, shelling, and for simple walks on the beach. Whenever her grandchildren were around, she emulated pride and happiness. She always wanted everyone to be happy before herself. Everyone was family to her, and if you knew her you felt it, she was truly everybody’s mother. We know why Heaven is so beautiful because now it has our Mom.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Margaret Robbins for opening her heart to our mother during her last moments.
