Kathleen Taylor

MILLBURY – Kathleen “Kathie” (Stuart) Taylor, 80, went home to her Lord and Savior on May 4, 2022 after a short stay at Care One at Millbury.

She was born Worcester and lived in Millbury most of her life. She graduated from Millbury High School and was active in Rainbow Girls as a young woman. As a long time member of the Millbury Federated Church, she served on the Board of Management, the Ministry Team, Clown Ministry, and was Financial Secretary. She attended Salter’s Secretarial School. She worked for insurance companies, primarily at the Ryan Insurance Company of Worcester.

She married David Taylor from New York in 2004 after meeting him at a Dinner Dance for the Blind at church. They had a wonderful ten years together enjoying camping with the Canvas Campers and participating in activities at church. David died on Easter of 2015.

She is survived by her only cousin, Peggy Isaacson, of Shrewsbury; David’s son, Anthony Taylor and his wife, Jacquie, and their three children, Anthony, William, and Rosemarie and David’s daughter, Holly Taylor-Garcia and her son, Troy Garcia, all of Mahopac, NY.

In addition to her family, she will be greatly missed by her church family and friends from the 1959 class of Millbury High School.

Graveside services for Kathie and David will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Clinton Road, Rt.62, Sterling. MA 01564 on Saturday May 28th at 10 a.m.
