SUTTON – Kathryn L. (Haglund) Direnzo, 52, of, Sutton, died Sunday, May 25th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her husband, James H. Direnzo Sr.; two sons, James H. Direnzo Jr. and his wife, Susan of Leicester and Chester M. Direnzo and his wife Jennifer of Northbridge; four grandchildren, Anthony, Hannah, Matthew and Benjamin Direnzo; her mother-in-law, Joyce Direnzo of Millbury; a brother, James Haglund of Worcester; three sisters, Jayne Leardi and Nancy Augusto both of Worcester and Carol Grindley of Millbury; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Priscilla G. (Litchfield) Haglund and two brothers, Steven and Robert Haglund.
Kathryn was a home maker and a former cashier at Shaw's Super Market in Northbridge.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, May 29th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 28th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
