MILLBURY Kathryn R. (Drudis) Resseguie Hart, 86, of Millbury, died Saturday, July 3rd in her home, after an illness.
Her first husband, Raymond C. Resseguie Jr. died in 1962 and her second husband, Ronald J. Hart died in 1980. She will be sadly missed by her family which includes her son, Ronald "Skip" Resseguie Sr. and his wife Janice of Boylston; a daughter, Marilyn V. wife of Walter Carpenter of Douglas; grandchildren, Debbie wife of David Keskula of Boylston, Ronald Ressiguie Jr. of Boylston, Sheryll Davis of Millbury and Leanne wife of Timothy Cullinan of Douglas; 8 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Hart owned and solely operated the former KayTM)s Nursing Home in Millbury and served as a visiting nurse with the Worcester Visiting Nurses, for several years. She played a large civic role serving on several committees in working toward the growth and progress of the town of Millbury, with a dedicated passion toward elder affairs. She received the Mass Senior Action Council Leadership Excellence Award and the Judith Wilinson 2nd Annual Humanitarian Award. She was also given an official citation by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her dedicated service to the elders of Millbury and Worcester. She also served on the Silver Hair Legislation
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, July 7th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury, Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, July 6th from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, Ma. 01605
