Kenneth S. Fairbanks

MILLBURY -- Kenneth S. Fairbanks, 58, passed away after a long illness on Tuesday, December 12 surrounded by his loving family. 

Kenny leaves behind his daughter Amanda "Tiger" Fairbanks of Auburn and her mother Laurie Fairbanks; his mother Joanne Fairbanks; his sister Katherine "Chatty" Fairbanks; his niece and Godchild Megan Ricardi and her husband Joseph; his nephew Jared Carlson and his partner Heather Demuth; his niece Rachel "Chi Chi" Houlden and her husband Tyler; many aunts, uncles and cousins, great nieces and nephews and a couple of dear friends who visited during his illness, Gary Hall and Pastor Roger.   Kenny was predeceased by his son Benjamin in 1996 and his father, Norman Fairbanks on December 11, 2023.

Kenny did concrete work before severely injuring his back.  He enjoyed spending time at home working on the mini farm with his dad.  He lived next door to mom and dad and there was a well-worn path from one house to the next.  Kenny’s favorite things in his life were his daughter, helping his father, and his “Lite” beer.  Kenny was a loving father, son, brother and uncle.  He had a big heart and a beautiful soul.  The family would like to thank his nurse Tara and Central Mass VNA Hospice for all their care and support. 

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Kenny and his father, Norman by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, December 15th from 4 to 7 pm in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Their Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 16^th at 10 am in St Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will follow in West Millbury Cemetery.
