MILLBURY – Kenneth J. Gauthier, 56, died Thursday, Feb. 5th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Nancy E. (Nash) Gauthier; three children, Matthew, Katie and Jessie Gauthier and two granddaughters, Maddison and MacKenzie Lamonda all of Worcester; a brother, Mark Gauthier of Sterling and several nephews and nieces.
Ken was born in Worcester, son of the late Edmond and Arlene (Turcotte) Gauthier. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School and Quinsigamond College.
He owned Sutton Liquors for many years before semi-retiring in 1999. Since then he has been managing income properties. He loved the Red Sox, Patriots and playing softball at the Oxford Jack Benny League. His granddaughters were his greatest joy and he would brag about them to anyone willing to listen
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 9th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., in Millbury. His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10th at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
