WORCESTER - Kenneth A. Koziol, 57, died Friday, April 22nd at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
He leaves a son, Kenneth Ferraro of Texas; a daughter, Dianna Koziol, of Springfield; a grandson, Ryan Pelchat, of Millbury; two sisters, Kandice Pelchat of Millbury and Laurie Rivera and her husband, Nestor of South Grafton; two brothers, Keith Koziol and his wife, Cathy, of Illinois and Mark Fontaine and his wife, Lynn of CT; and many nieces and nephews. He was born in Springfield and is predeceased by his parents, Stanley W. Koziol and Mary (Turner) Fontaine, two sisters, Linda Phillips and Tammy Fontaine; and a brother, Larry Phillips.
Kenny attended Ludlow High School and went on to Springfield Technical Community College and lived most of his adult life in the Worcester/Grafton area. He was a craftsman, a mechanic, a metals fabricator, an HVAC expert and a Jack of All Trades-- he loved classic muscle cars, classic rock, motorcycles and working with his hands, though illness forced him to retire early. He was a good and loyal friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
His calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 3-5pm in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO). http://www.asbestosdiseaseawareness.org/dona
