MILLBURY Kenneth E. Michalak, 62, of 10 Oak St., died Friday, April 23rd in the VNA Hospice Residence in Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Pauline (Kaminski) Michalak; a son, Michael K. Michalak Sr. of Millbury; a daughter, Michele M. Michalak of Sutton; his mother, Jane S. (Kijowski) Michalak and a sister, Elaine J. Michalak both of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Edward J. Michalak.
Mr. Michalak worked at Johnson Steel and Wire Co. in Worcester, for 23 years until they closed. He was then a barber at HoraceTM)s Barber Shop in Holden.
He was member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, a member of Steel Workers Union Local #3189 in Worcester, the Singletary Rod & Gun Club in Oxford and the Auburn Sportsman Club.
His funeral will be held Monday, April 26th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 25th, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Residence at Coes Pond, in care of VNA Care Network, Inc., Development Office, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, Mass. 01608-1280.
