Kenneth F. Roberts Jr., 47, died Friday, July 13, 2012 at his home, after being stricken ill.
He leaves his mother, Gloria J. (Russell) Roberts Schimke and his step-father, Paul M. Schimke of Millbury; his life-long partner, Maura Gallery with whom he lived; a brother, Jeffrey P. Roberts and his wife Nicole and their daughters, Brianna and Mackenzie of Westfield; his niece, Catitlin M. Roberts of Miamisberg, Ohio. He also leaves his step-sister Kelly A. Schimke and her son Austin of Maynard and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, Kenneth F. Roberts, Sr. and his brother Neal J. Roberts.
Ken was self-employed as a Computer Programmer and Consultant. Ken graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1983. He graduated from Worcester State College in 1988 with a degree in Computer Science. He was a radio controlled aircraft enthusiast. He loved nature, and his farm.
His funeral will be held Friday, July 20th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours are Thursday July 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The TNA Facial Pain Association, 408 West University Ave., Suite 602, Gainesville, FL 32601 or St. Brigid Church Religious Education, 59 Main St. Millbury, MA 01527 or the charity of your choice.
