Kristofer J. Clawson

WORCESTER – Kristofer J. Clawson, 46, passed away on Sunday, March 10^th after complications from a stroke, with his family by his side.

Kris leaves his parents, Thomas and Janet (Magnuson) Clawson of Millbury; his sister, Jayne (Clawson), her husband Christopher Pierce, their daughter and Kris’ God daughter Maggie Bligh of Auburn.  He also had many aunts, uncles and cousins. His dog Sadie, was one of his best companions. Kris was predeceased by his loving wife, Megan Elizabeth Dorsey-Clawson.

Kris graduated from Millbury Memorial High School as a member of the national honor society, where he lettered in cross country and indoor track. He was also a member of the golf team.

Kris graduated from UMass Amherst with a bachelor's degree in communications. He worked as an accountant for several different companies over the years. He was an amazing self-taught musician who specialized in piano and guitar most of all. Any instrument he held, he could play.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Kris’ life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday, March 16^th from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.  His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will be at West Millbury Cemetery.
