WORCESTER - Leon M. Howe, Jr., 83, passed away on Monday, April 23rd in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home.
Leon leaves his wife, Jacqueline A. (Etre) Howe; a step daughter, Pamela M. Greigg and her husband, Timothy Greigg, Sr. of Roanoke, VA; two grandsons, Timothy Jr. and Robbie Greigg; many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Leon M. and Gladys (Cunningham) Howe; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert Howe; a sister, Edith Gambaccini.
Leon was born and Worcester and worked for R.J. Deveraux Corporation for over 40 years, where he made many friends and fond memories. He was a member of the Greendale Retired Men’s Club and enjoyed trips to the casino and beach with his wife.
Jacqueline and Leon’s family would like to recognize R.J. Deveraux Corporation, especially Michael Deveraux, Robert Deveraux and Eleanor Brennan, for all of Leon’s care over the past year. All of their love and support will never be forgotten.
Family and friends will honor and remember Leon’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, April 26th from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
His funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
