MILLBURY – Leona M. (Lundgren) Bruso, 80, died Tuesday, Oct. 14th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester with her family by her side.
Her loving husband of 56 years, Albert R. Bruso died in 2010. She leaves four children, Carol Connaughton and her husband Joe of San Diego, CA, Albert and his wife Lynn of Auburn, Robert and his wife Penny of Auburn and Michael and his wife Christine of South Grafton. She also leaves her grandchildren, Joe Connaughton III and his wife Kelli, Stephanie, A.J., Bobby, Brian, Jennifer Leach and her husband, Ben, Matthew and Emily. In addition to her grandchildren she leaves four great-grandchildren, Owen, Eamon, Jordan and Albert; nieces and nephews.
Leona was very fond of her caring neighbors and friends who were always there for her. She enjoyed and looked forward to visits from her niece, Susan O'Donnell from Florida. Most of all Leona loved spending time with her family on the lake.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Funeral services and burial will be private.
