MILLBURY Lillian D. (Lorion) Doucette Lapomardo, 87, of 20 Marion Ave., died Thursday, Aug. 19th in Radius HealthCare Center of Worcester.

She leaves her husband of 32 years, Vincent Lapomardo; a daughter, Lucille A. Caulfield of Millbury; a son, Robert W. and his wife, Helene Doucette of Charlton; three grandchildren, Keith and Michele Doucette of Charlton and Kara Caulfield of Lowell. Her first husband, Henry Doucette, died in 1970. Lillian was born in Worcester, daughter of Albert and Eva (McCarthy) Lorion. She was predeceased by a brother, Edmond Lorion and a sister, Cecile Lamarche. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in Worcester.

Mrs. Lapomardo was a baker and cook at Dorothy High School and Forest Grove School, both in Worcester, retiring 26 years ago. She previously worked at St. Francis Home, in Worcester. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a volunteer at the Friendly House.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 21st from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 20th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mass. Lions Research Inc., in care of Bill Murphy (Treasurer), P.O. Box 6050, New Bedford, Ma. 02742 or to the Alzheimers Assoc. Research, 225 North Michigan Ave., Suite 1700, Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633, or your local chapter.
