MILLBURY – Lillian M. (Gosselin) MacDonald, 88, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Her husband Howard MacDonald of 66 years, died in 2019. She leaves three daughters, Debra Post of Millbury, Linda Bjorn and her husband Don of Sutton and Carol Perron and her husband Richard of North Grafton; six grandchildren, Andrew and Erik Bjorn, Michael and Nicholas Post, Sarah and Melissa Perron; four great-grandchildren, Todd, Kara, Luke and Rylee. She is predeceased by her parents Lionel and Alice Gosselin, and her brothers Robert, Albert, Harvey, Bruce and John.
Lillian and Howard enjoyed 17 years of their retirement living in Naples, Florida. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lillian had many talents including sewing, cake decorating, baking, and cooking for her family. She had an infectious laugh and always knew how to put a smile on anyone's face.
Her family would like to express their deepest gratitude to JHC Hospice and give a special thank you to Becky and Joyce for their extraordinary care and compassion.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Lillian’s life with a time of visitation on Thursday, October 14th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Her funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Face masks or coverings will be required in the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
