MILLBURY Linda J. (Witkowski) Catallozzi, died Thursday, April 30th at Framingham Union Hospital in Framingham, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She leaves her husband, Michael J. Catallozzi; three daughters, Valerie N. Spencer of Southbridge, Gina M. Catallozzi and Michaela A. Catallozzi both of Millbury; her mother, Josephine (Prece) Witkowski of South Yarmouth; a sister JoAnne Scavitto of Mendon; a brother, William J. Witkowski Jr. of South Yarmouth; many nephews and nieces as well as great nephews and great nieces. She was born in Milford and is predeceased by her father, William J. Witkowski Sr.
Linda was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Milford and attended Northeastern University to become an operating room technician. Linda then went on to be a home day care provider for many years and considered all of the children to be part of her family. She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed going to the ocean. Her fondest memories were of Cape Cod and Narragansett Beach.
Her funeral will be held Monday, May 4th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 4 to7 p.m. Sunday, May 3rd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catallozzi Childeren's Education Fund, % Millbury Savings Bank, 109 Elm Street, Millbury, Ma 01527.
