SUTTON – Linda (White) Marhefka, 66, of Sutton, died surrounded by her family Saturday morning at St. Vincent's hospital after a long illness.
Linda, originally of Shrewsbury, was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School, Quinnsigamond Community College and Assumption College. Linda worked most of her career as a bookkeeper and had spent the last 23 years as the office manager for a storage business owned by her and her husband. Linda enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, painting, sewing and playing the piano. Linda's attention to detail and generous spirit will not soon be forgotten by those who knew her well.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Robert and their five children: Robert Marhefka II of Worcester, Allison Godfrey Roche of Worcester, Julie Marhefka of Charleton, Wendy Mastrogiovanni of Shrewsbury and John Marhefka of Worcester;10 grandchildren; her mother, Lenore M. White of Shrewsbury; sisters, Sandra Regnier of Shrewsbury, Beverly Jones of Sidney, Montana and her brother, H. Bradford White of Shrewsbury. She is preceded in death by her father, Howard B. White.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday Nov. 14th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Philip's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13th in the funeral home.
