Lisa Marie (Havalotti) Deeter, 48, died Friday, April 3rd at the UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, Michael E. Deeter Sr.; three children, Nicole M., Michael Jr. and Mark R. Deeter all of Millbury; two granddaughters, Payton Marie Deeter and Piper Lee Ellis; her father, Richard Havalotti and his wife Nancy of Deland, Florida; her mother, Marilyn Geldart and her husband Richard of Grafton; a brother, Richard Havalotti of Grafton; four step-sisters, Ann Geldart and Debbie Robichaud both of Rochdale, Lynn Geldart and Doreen Wood both of Worcester; two step-brothers, James Geldart of Worcester and Todd Chartier of Deland, Florida; nephews and nieces.
Lisa was born in Worcester and grew up in Grafton, where her and Mike lived for several years before buying a home and moving to Millbury. Lisa was very involved in Pop Warner Football and Cheerleading, as a coach for her daughter Nicole's cheerleading and a Team mom for both Michael and Mark's football teams for over a decade. Lisa was a supervisor at UPS and The Disney store for many years, up until she was injured, which ultimately led to her retiring. After her injury Lisa worked at the Millbury Fish and Chip until December of last year.
Her granddaughters and grandsons, Dylan and Ayden, who couldn't say Lisa, would call her "Sa". She would say I love you to the moon and back to them. For those that knew Lisa, know that she would never turn away someone in need and at her house there was never an empty room. Lisa loved her family very much, it didn't matter if you were blood or if you lived under our house, you were family. She was a fearlessly strong woman who was as kind and giving to the point of going without for herself. She loved and was loved. Lisa will be missed by many.
Lisa's calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury.
