WORCESTER Lora Frances (Griswold) Greene, 89, of 8585 Summa Ave., Baton Rouge, La. formerly of Auburn and Worcester, died Saturday, Jan. 31, in her home after an illness.
Her husband, Nobel C. Greene died in 1983. She leaves three daughters, Lois E.
Uliana of Auburn, Marcia L. Morgan of Baton Rouge, La. and Holly R. Lantinen of Portsmouth, N.H.; a sister, Ruth Biggins of Cedaredge, Colorado; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Llewelyn and Lilla (Whitman) Griswold and lived in Worcester for many years. She then lived in Auburn for three years before moving to Louisiana.
Mrs. Greene was a payroll clerk at the Worcester YWCA for 20 years, before retiring. She was a member of the Millbury Baptist Church.
Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millbury Baptist Church, P.O. Box 222, Millbury, Ma. 01527.
