MILLBURY – Loraine E. (Richard) Colarusso, 93, formerly of Southbridge, died Friday, February 17, 2012 in Radius Health Care Center in Worcester, after a long and wonderful life.
She leaves her husband of 68 years, Joseph V. Colarusso; three children, Mary C. Benjaminsen and her husband, Frank of Northborough, Joseph V. Colarusso Jr. and his wife, Jennifer of Iowa, Richard D. Colarusso and his wife, Mary Beth of Millbury; six grandchildren, Justin and Angela Colarusso, Kristen Mashinsky, Frank Benjaminsen III, Jori and Jacqueline Colarusso; two great grandchildren, Shane and Zachary Mashinsky; nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Colarusso was secretary at C.D. Whitney Insurance Agency in Millbury for over 20 years, before she retired. A special thank you to the staff at both Radius Health Care and Sol Amor Hospice for their compassionate care, during her stay.
Loraine's funeral will be held Wednesday Feb. 22nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21st in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Bone Marrow Unit, 55 Lake Avenue, North, Worcester, MA 01655.
