Loren Bell

March 28, 1930 — May 12, 2007

SUTTON Loren E. "Gus" Bell, 77, of Sutton, where he had lived for many years, died Saturday, May 12th in Beaumont Rebabilitation and Nursing Center, Northbridge. He also had previously lived with his daughter, in Whitinsville.

His wife Elaine E. (Rose) Bell died in 1991. He leaves a daughter, Kathleen E. Audet of Whitinsville; a son, Robert S. Bell of Sutton; five grandchildren, Heather Audet, Bobbi-Jo Jonash, Gerard Audet, Justin Bell and Ashley Audet; two great-grandchildren. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Leslie Bell Sr. and Katherine (Cummings) Bell, a sister Laura Blackburn and a brother, Leslie Bell Jr.

Mr. Bell was a Metallurgist at Wyman Gordon Co working in the Grafton plant and retired from the Worcester Plant in 1991. He was active in sports and was on the Millbury Old Time Inn softball team in the softball league. He was a long time coach for the Millbury Softball League and he was an avid Red Sox and Patroits Fan.

His funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 15th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the AlzheimerTM)s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
