MILLBURY – Loretta G. (Gregory) Hazelwood, 88, formerly of Millbury, died Thursday, Sept. 16th at the home of her niece and caregiver, Betty Richards in Effingham, SC.
Her husband of 57 years, John R. Hazelwood, died in 2003. She leaves a son, John R. Hazelwood of Grafton; a daughter, Susan E. Manzaro of Worcester; six grandchildren, Mark, James and John Manzaro, Serena LaTulippe, Tracy Lee Hazelwood and Nadene Lange; nine great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, John P. and Delia E. (Frigughiette) Gregory and seven brothers and sisters.
Loretta was a supervisor at Jeffco Fibers in Millbury for many years, before she retired. She enjoyed bingo and going to the casinos.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, Sept. 21st from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association 330 Congress Street Boston, MA 02210 .
