Lorraine Mckenney

MILLBURY – Lorraine G. (LaBreck) McKenney, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15th.  Her husband of 46 years, John F. McKenney Sr. passed away in 1994.

Lorraine leaves her two children, Carol Widen and her husband, Stephen of Millbury and John F. McKenney, Jr. and his wife, Coumba of Millbury; nine grandchildren, Katie Falcone and her husband, Joseph of Westboro, Andrew Widen and his wife, Erica of Grafton, Patrick Widen and his wife, Alyssa of Rutland, Aljumaa McKenney of Millbury, John F. McKenney, III of Whitinsville, Oulimatta McKenney of Millbury, Lorain Laperrier and her husband, Alex of Dover, NH, Coumba Wade and her husband Malick and Penda Rodeo and her husband Martin both of Silver Springs, MD; 15 great grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine Giard of Gardner; nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her two siblings, Shirley McKenney and Thomas LaBreck, and her dear friend Al Phaneuf.

Lorraine enjoyed quilting, candy making and crafts.  Most of all she loved spending time surrounded by her family, traveling, going to the beach and visiting Maine.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Lorraine’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, May 25th from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.

Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
