Lorraine I. (McAtee), Nasuti, Vassar, 79, died Monday, September 18, 2017 in UMass Memorial Medical Center. She was the wife of Charles J. Vassar III who died in 1988.
She leaves one daughter, Lori Corriveau and her husband, Alan of Hollywood, FL; one son, John Nasuti and his wife, Renee of Millbury, a sister, Marilyn Mills of Hollywood, FL, four grandchildren, Paul LaMere and his wife, Mandy of Nokomis, FL, Katherine, Emily and Jenna Nasuti of Millbury and three great-grandchildren: Remington, Weston and Clayton LaMere. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Everett and Gladys (Anderson) McAtee. She lived most of her life in Millbury but moved to Florida in the late 80’s to begin a new chapter in her life after the death of her husband Chuck.
Lorraine’s interests were travelling, gardening and spending time with her family. Her most treasured times were when she was with her grand and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
The family would like to thank the wonderful and dedicated staff of Care One at Millbury for the loving care they have provided to her during her four years of residence.
Lorraine’s calling will be Friday, Sept. 22nd from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. all in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of Care One at Millbury, 312 Millbury Ave. Millbury, MA 01527.
