MILLBURY Louis "Lou" P. Masse, 66, of 25 Epping St., died Wednesday, Nov. 8th in Millbury Health Care Center, Millbury.
He leaves his wife of 20 years, Jean M. (Jordan) Masse; a son, Louis P. Masse II.; a daughter, Tammi Lizotte; two step-sons, Shawn E. Fay of Millbury and Jason M. Fay of Brooklyn, NY; a sister, Shirley Webber of Millbury; seven grandchildren; nieces and a nephew. Louis was born in Worcester, son of Louis O. and Irene (Caron) Masse.
Louis was a school bus driver in Millbury for many years and a driver for Rand & Whitney and then for AA Transportation in Shrewsbury, driving special needs children. He was a former Auxiliary Police Officer and a Fire Fighter for the town of Millbury. He was a member of the Local Teamsters Union #170 and enjoyed coaching Little League and was a player and coach for the Anchor Lounge softball team and loved camping, fishing, and sports.
His calling hours will be held Saturday, Nov. 11th from noon to 2 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private in Central Cemetery, Millbury. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.
