MILLBURY Louis W. Nadolink, 92, of 47 Maple St., died Monday, June 6th in the VNA Care Hospice Residence, Worcester.
He leaves his wife of 64 years, Evelyn M. (Hughes) Nadolink; a son, Dr. Richard and his wife, Janet A. Nadolink of Portsmouth, R.I.; a grandson, Erik and his wife, Jill Nadolink of Richmond, VA; a brother, Walter Nadolink of Florida; a sister, Amelia Gendron of South Grafton; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents, John and Sophie (Migdol) Nadolink, a brother, Mitchel Nadolink and a sister, Stacia Giacomello.
Mr. Nadolink was a tester for the former New England High Carbon Wire Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1978. He attended the Millbury Old Timers Banquets and was one of itTM)s honored Old Timers. He was a Army veteran during WW II and a plank owner of the Polish American Club. He was noted in the 1930TM)s, 40TM)s and 50TM)s as a superb baseball player with the Polish Tigers.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 13th in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home Health or the Coes Pond Residence of the VNA Care Network, Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester, Ma. 10608. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
