Louis Racicot

MILLBURY - Louis E. Racicot, 62, of 209 Wheelock Ave., died Tuesday, July 22, in his home after a long battle with metastatic bladder cancer.

He leaves a daughter, Vicki M. Racicot of Millbury; two brothers, James H. Racicot of Millbury and Paul A. Racicot of St. Augustine Shores, Fl.; a sister, Mary Knowlton of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Arthur and Victoria (Bleau) Racicot and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1959.

Mr. Racicot was a master machinist at Wyman-Gordon Co. in Worcester and Grafton for 19 years, retiring in 1999. He was an Air Force Air Police Veteran during the Vietnam War, serving in Japan and Germany.

A memorial calling period will be from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30. at the Charles F. Minney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, South Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, Ma. 01701. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ). is in charge of the arrangements.
