MILLBURY – Lucille B. (Snow) Cammuso, 81, died Sunday, April 19th in her home, surrounded by her family, after a two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Her husband of 50 years, Paul J. Cammuso, died in 1996. She leaves two daughters, Nancy and her husband, Tony Gurgone of Worcester and Paula and her husband Bob Parker of North Oxford; a son, Bill and his wife, Susan of Millbury; seven grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Alexi Joannidis, Christina and her husband James Gamble, Salvatore and his wife Kristal Gurgone, Jason Parker and his fiancée, Vanessa Love, Laurie Parker, Tiffany and Sara Cammuso; three great grandchildren, Isabella, Giuliana and Nikolas. She was born in Millbury, living here all her life and graduated from Millbury High School.
Mrs. Cammuso was employed at the Cornell Diubliers and the Integrity Adjusters. Most recently she was employed at Mar-Len Publications for 17 years, until her retirement in 2003, due to illness. She was a volunteer and member of the Millbury Council on Aging. She and her husband were editors of the Northeast Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association newsletter for 15 years and Lucille was active in Campfire Girls and co-founder of the Dorothy Manor Mothers Club. She enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting, crafts and having tea and playing cards with her friends and granddaughter. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family. Mrs. Cammuso's family would like to thank the staff of the VNA Care Hospice and the Home Staff Company for their kindness and caring.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 23rd from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 22nd in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Network, Inc.
