SUTTON – Lucille A. (Gregoire) Chausse, 81, died Thursday, July 17th in her home, after being stricken ill.
Her husband, Archie Boire died 1994. She leaves three children, Sharon Waskiewicz and her husband, James of Sutton, James R. Chausse and his wife, Leah-Jane of Sutton and Pamela Franco and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a sister, Frances deSousa of Hopkinton; nieces and nephews. She was born in Northbridge and is predeceased by her parents, James and Lena (Jacques) Gregoire and a sister, Jeanne Opacki.
Mrs. Chausse formerly owned and operated the Sutton Lunch in Wilkinsonville before she worked at Worcester City Hospital in the outreach program before retiring. She loved cats and leaves her four cats.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26th in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St. Worcester, MA 01606.
