MILLBURY – Luther Holland, 67, died Monday, June 23rd in his home, surrounded by his family.
He leaves his wife, Jean (Leroux) Holland; two daughters, LuAnn wife of Michael Simon of Milford and Laura Holland of Millbury; five brothers, Clyde Holland of Pocahontas, Virginia, James Holland of Rogersville, Tennessee, Bobby Holland of Hansonville, Virginia, Richard Holland of Duffield, Virginia and Michael Holland of War, West Virginia; six sisters, Lena Jones of Oak Hill, West Virginia, Patricia Miller of Toronto, Ohio, Betty DeLuca of Morristown, Tennessee, Nancy Taylor of Lanham, Maryland, Brenda Stacy of Bluff City, Tennessee and Theresa Stacy of Troutman, North Carolina; nephews and nieces. He was born in Raysal, West Virginia and is predeceased by his parents James A. and Virgie M. (Keaton) Holland, his step-mother, Carolyn (Wells) Holland and two brothers, Claude and Bruce Holland.
Mr. Holland worked for Wyman-Gordon Co. in Grafton for 30 years, retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
His funeral will be held Friday, June 27th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., in Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Care Network, Inc.
