MILLBURY – Lynn Marie (Elliott) Boutilier, 52, of 5 Cristo Lane, died peacefully, surrounded by her family, after a courageous 8 year battle with cancer on Friday, March 21st at home.
She leaves her husband, Tim Boutilier; her parents, Jack and Betty Lou (Bristol) Elliott of Millbury; three sons, A. J. McClintock, John McClintock and Ryan Boutilier all of Millbury; a daughter, Heather Boutilier of Boston; a brother, Kenneth Elliott and his wife Beth of Millbury; a grandson, Adam McClintock of Millbury; her father and mother in law, Lawrence and Margaret (Cristo) Boutilier of Millbury; a sister and brother in law, Stephan and Diane Brisson of Millbury; nieces and nephews, Matthew and Ashley Brisson, Jackie and Duncan Elliott, Thomas Brothers, an aunt, Barbara Rockwood of Florida. She graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1973.
Lynn was employed at K.V.S. and Reliable Fire Protection of Oxford. She was a member of the auxiliary of the Chester P. Tuttle Post American Legion #279 in Auburn, where she served as secretary for eight years. Annually she participated in the UMASS Walk to Cure Cancer with her children and grandson. She enjoyed her summer vacations at Hampton Beach with friends and family and recently enjoyed her trip to Alaska with her husband. She also hosted a 4th of July outing every year for her family and friends.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 25th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 24th in the funeral home.
