MILLBURY - M. Jessie (Credit) Lange, 69, of 18 Sutton Rd. died Tuesday, June 24, in Radius HealthCare Center of Millbury, after a brief struggle with cancer.
Her husband, Robert G. Lange died in 1991. She leaves a son, Steven M. Lange of Millbury; three daughters, Mary C. Bernard and Paula J. Aspinwall both of Millbury and Catherine R. Wagman of East Bridgewater; two brothers, Alan Credit of Webster and Richard Stockwell of Oxford; four sisters, Anna Boudreau of Florida, Mary Grondine of Oxford, Mary Brady of Millbury and Madeline Credit of Sutton; six grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, David Lange died in 1992 and a brother Joseph Credit, also predeceased her. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Henry J. and Jessie E. (Gibson) Credit. Following the death of her mother, shortly after birth, she lived with and was mothered by her aunt Catherine Gibson. She lived in Millbury all her life and graduated from Millbury High School.
Mrs. Lange formerly worked at State Mutual Life Insurance Co., in Worcester and also at the former Pine Grove Villa Nursing Home.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church, the Millbury Historical Society and the Occupied Japan Collectors. She enjoyed geneology, computers, and Indian and town history.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 27, in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 10 Waters St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. (
