Mabel L. (Noel) Charpentier, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2nd in St. Camillus Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mabel’s husband, Noel L.H. Charpentier passed away in 1986 after 38 years of marriage. She leaves seven children, Henry Charpentier and his wife, Bonnie of Altamonte Springs, FL, Noel Charpentier and his partner, Donna Karacius of Douglas, Susan Roy of Sutton, Lucie and her husband, Jimmy Arrell of Sutton, Linda and her husband, Mike Reeves of Granite City, IL, Al Charpentier and his wife, Wendy of Charlton and Mary and her husband, Brian Michalski of Douglas; two daughter in laws, Teri Charpentier of Millbury and Kathi Bolduc of Vermont; twenty four grandchildren and thirty five great grandchildren; five sisters, Cecile Linnell, Blanche Aubin, Ruth Mitchell, Bernice Geer and Rita Dion and her husband, Norman; a brother, Henry Noel and his wife, Connie; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sons, John and Joel Charpentier; two sisters, Alice Noel, Ann Huchowski, and a brother, Sam Noel.
Mabel loved reading, crafts, knitting and camping. She was a crossing guard for the old Wilkinsonville School. In addition she supported many community fundraising events. Most of all Mabel enjoyed raising her children, grandchildren and spending time with her entire family.
Mabel’s Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, August 7th at 11 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
