Mabel V. Edwards

Mabel Violet (Bennett) Edwards of Auburndale Village in Newton, MA passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on February 11, 2025. 

Mabel leaves behind three siblings, Mrs. Dorothy Tyler of Milwaukee WI, Mrs. Michael Sauro of Hendersonville, NC and Shirley Haglund of Auburn MA; many nieces & nephews. 

Mabel was a housekeeper and babysitter for many years. She also worked at a nursing home, then was asked if she would be a caregiver for her loved ones. Knitting was a passion of hers and she gifted many items to friends and family, she also sold some. She enjoyed taking care of the birds and watching VHS recordings. Mable loved her God & Savior, and she loved keeping in touch with every family member.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in West Millbury Cemetery that will be announced in the Spring.
