MILLBURY – Mabel R. (Williams) Stewart, 91, died Monday, Nov. 2nd in Care One of Millbury Nursing Home.
Her husband, Wallace H. Stewart died in 2009. She leaves four children, Wallace H. Stewart, Jr. of Cherry Valley, Rev. Susan Stewart of Williamstown, Mark R. Stewart of Hamden, CT and Daniel P. Stewart of Millbury; three granddaughters, Maria, Joan and Debra; a great granddaughter, Kaia; nieces and nephews.
Mabel was a life member of the Millbury Baptist Church and former member of the auxiliary of the Devoe-Taylor American Legion Post in Millbury. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother and loved gardening.
Mabel's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. Millbury. A calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Fund of the Millbury Baptist Church, P.O. Box 222, Millbury, MA 01527.
