MILLBURY - Mable E. (Hicks) Rixham, 76, of 36 Memorial Dr., formerly of Washington St., died Wednesday, July 18, in Providence Extended Care Center, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Everett N. Rixham; a brother, Raymond Hicks of Charlton; three sisters, Eunis Aqurkis and Elaine Warren both of Millbury and Maxine Tower of Whitinsville; nephews and nieces. She is pre-deceased by three brothers, Vernon Hicks, Ralph Hicks and Stanley Hicks. She was born in Sutton, daughter of Ralph and Laura (LaCrosse) Hicks and has lived in Millbury most of her life.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
The funeral will be held Saturday, July 21, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the funeral home. Donations may be made to a charity.
