Margaret Coons

MILLBURY - Margaret Jane (Wicke) Coons, 83, died Tuesday, Oct. 25th at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Her husband, William H. Coons Sr. died in 2007. She leaves six children, Donna Minichilli of Worcester, Victoria Frigon and her husband Paul of Millbury, Linda Coons and her partner Allan Ackerman of Millbury, William H Coons Jr. of Worcester, John J. Coons of Worcester and Michael Coons and his wife Robin of West Boylston; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Preston of Shrewsbury, Mary Roy of New Hampshire, and Nancy Roberts of Grafton; nephews and nieces.

Jane and her husband owned and operated McGuire's CafAC. and Lounge in Worcester for many years before they retired. They loved traveling to coastal Maine. Jane was a warm loving and generous mother who loved spending time with her family including grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Her calling hours are Friday, Oct. 28th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29th in Mulhane Home for Funerals and burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
