MILLBURY Margaret E. (Fogarty) Dempsey, of 17 Sycamore St., died Thursday, Feb. 2nd in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester.
Her husband, Paul Dempsey died in 1982. She leaves a daughter, Paula M. wife of James M. Beauregard of Sutton, a granddaughter, Danielle M. Beauregard of Arlington and nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by two sisters, May Dunn and Catherine Leach and two brothers, William and Francis Fogarty. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Patrick and Margaret (Butler) Fogarty. She graduated from South High School and Becker Junior College, both in Worcester.
Mrs. Dempsey worked in the bookkeeping department of the Millbury National Bank for 25 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church.
MargaretTM)s funeral will be held Monday, Feb. 6th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to AbbyTM)s House Inc., 52 High St., Worcester, MA 01609.
