MILLBURY - Margaret M. (McMahon) Guenther, 93, formerly of 215 Main St., died Tuesday, Dec. 3, in Providence House Nursing Home.
Her husband, Henry E. Guenther died in 1982. She leaves a step-daughter, Shirley Ensom of Fresno, Ca.; step-grandchildren; step great-grandchildren; a good friend, Dianne Muzzy of Millbury; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by two brothers, Stephen and James McMahon and a sister Aggie McMahon. She was born and raised in Millbury, daughter of Kennedy and Mary (Pender) McMahon. She lived in Worcester from 1947 to 1984 when she returned to Millbury. She graduated from Millbury High School in 1926.
Mr. Guenther was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and the Golden Age. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St.. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Friends of the Millbury Seniors, One River St., Millbury, Ma. 01527-1901 Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ) is in charge of the arrangements.
