MILLBURY Margaret T. (Walsh) Kinniery died Thursday, Dec. 17, on her 102 birthday.
Her husband, William M. Kinniery, died in 1950. She leaves a daughter, Helen Marie Kinniery, of Millbury and a nephew, Michael J. OTM)Mara, of Manhattan, New York. Margaret was born in Millbury and is predeceased by her parents, James F. and Mary E. (Reynolds) Walsh and two sisters, Helen L. Walsh and Marie J. OTM)Mara.
Margaret was a teacher at the former Burbank Street School and the former Providence Street School for 35 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of the Worcester County TeachersTM) Association, the Southern Worcester County Retired TeachersTM) Association, the Massachusetts TeachersTM) Association, the former St. Brigid WomenTM)s Club and the Hortulus Garden Club. She enjoyed flower arranging and traveling.
Her funeral will be held Monday, Dec. 21, from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, in the funeral home.
