MILLBURY - Margaret L (Peloquin) Pescheta, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan.21st surrounded by her family.
Margaret was a devoted, loving and caring mother and grandmother, who loved her family very much. Margaret is survived by her three children, Angela M. Kerswell and her husband Albert C. Kerswell Jr. of Millbury, Michael L. Pescheta and his wife Christine of Worcester and Jonathan P. Pescheta of Holden; a daughter-in law, Cindy Pescheta of Uxbridge; six grandchildren, Tina Pescheta, Jeremy Kerswell, Celia and Megan Pescheta, Michael, John Pescheta; a great grandson Wyatt Kroll; a sister, Janice Kungoian and her husband Jack; many nieces and nephews. She was pre deceased by her son, Leonard A. Pescheta Jr. in August 1990 and her husband, of 50 years in March 2000 a sister, Alice Wilson and a brother, Charles Peloquin. Margaret was born in Grafton, daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Haley) Peloquin and has lived in Millbury for 64 years.
Before getting married in 1949, Margaret work for the Norton Company of Worcester. Margaret was very active in the Camp Fire Girl Organization for over 25 years. Margaret was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of the Charles F. Minney Post, a member of St. Brigid Church and was a member and past president of the church's Women's Club. Margaret's passion was baking and decorating cakes. She once made a birthday cake for Jason Varitek, catcher/captain of the Boston Red Sox. Anyone that has had one of Margaret's cakes, knows how much love she put into each one of them. Margaret will be, forever missed.
Her funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 27th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26th in the funeral home. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
