WORCESTER i�½ Margaret M. (Papagni) Stimpson, 60, died Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 36 years, Robert C. Stimpson; a brother, Pat Papagni and his wife, Karol of Worcester; a niece, Lisa Rochford of Auburn and two nephews, Steven Papagni of Rutland and Michael Papagni of Worcester. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Adele (Maikelonis) Papagni.
Mrs. Stimpson was a teacher aide for the Worcester Public School Department for 30 years. She previously worked at Norton Company, in the shipping office, in Worcester and also formerly worked at the Tiny Treasurers in Worcester, where she cared for many children. She worked for many years on the negotiation committee with the school union. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews and their children, Julia, Jonathan, Ava, Jack and Sophia.
Calling hours will held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margareti�½s name, for Diabetes education, to the Barton Center, P.O. Box 356, North Oxford, MA 01537.
